In choosing a chipper it is important to understand that they are not shredders. A chipper needs there to be a good piece of wood attached to the leaf foliage. The chipper does not cope with flexible sappy leaf stem and a shredder does not cope with a wood element.
This is a very good machine for shredding small branches less that 3″ thickness
